I've been looking at more and more webcomics as my time in Columbus has lengthened. I'm still having trouble with story development. It's a little depressing...when I was younger I had so many stories to tell and now I can't think of anything. I finally got an idea the other day by observing the huge piles of mushrooms in my yard. I've come to the conclusion that I do my best when I spend enough time by myself to process information.

Anyways, here are some comics that I've been looking at, mostly for the drawings and colors.

http://meatandbonecomic.com/ by Katherine Verhoeven. Still unfinished. I can't handle the strain of waiting for the next one!

http://www.telepath-generation.com/ by Julia Scott. Like this one stylistically. I like seeing what people do with computers.

http://marlomeekins.tumblr.com/ I might be in love.

http://comingupforair.net/ Matthew Forsythe. I picked up his book Jinchalo at the book loft last week and I love it. Silent comics are hard to make.

All I need is a story.

A new idea for a comic series. Not sure what to call it yet.

Guess who's got their own website...

It's not really great right now, still trying to figure out how to make it look how I want.

Been taking a break from any real drawing. I've been busy since I started my second job. Do I miss being able to sit in the studio and make art every day? Yes. Do I like being out of school? Definitely. I just need to make some money and get my own studio en house.

I need to get back into watercolors again...do some real illustrations.

Drawing with friends!

Alex A. and I got together last night. Here are the results:

This James Brown Funkmaster comic was actually the result of a misunderstanding. James Brown is really hard to draw because he at once looks like a baby and a grandma
